Ethyl Acrylate

Ethyl Acrylate is is an organic compound that is an ethyl ester of acrylic acid.  It appears as a colorless liquid with a strong acrid odor.  It is primarily used to produce paints, textiles and non-woven fibers.  Ethyl acrylate can also be used as a flavoring agent in the food industry as it is one of the main volatile components found in organic passion fruit pulp.
